Kevin Curtis, Board Treasurer

Executive Director, NRDC Action Fund

Kevin Curtis is Executive Director of the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) Action Fund, a position he has held since 2016. Over his career, Kevin has built a deep understanding of environment, energy, and climate policies and politics. He has extensive experience in senior nonprofit management, in coordinating environmental advocacy campaigns, and as a facilitator.

Prior to joining the NRDC Action Fund, Kevin served as the Executive Director of the Partnership Project, Chief Program and Advocacy Officer at The Climate Reality Project, and Deputy Director of the Pew Environment Group where he was responsible for campaign operations as well as the global warming and U.S. public lands campaigns. Kevin also served as Legislative Director and Program Director at the National Environmental Trust – a multi-issue environmental advocacy and communications organization that was created by and eventually merged into The Pew Charitable Trusts.

Before joining the environmental advocacy movement, Kevin was a Senior Facilitator at Keystone Policy Center where he led and mediated negotiations between environmental advocates, businesses, government, and other stakeholders on a wide range of environmental and scientific policy issues.

Proudly from Colorado, Kevin received an M.B.A. from Yale University and a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Colorado.
