Environmental Polling Consortium

Community Poll

A first-of-its-kind research project that is directly informed by the advocacy community’s real-time strategic needs and that allows any environmental advocacy group, regardless of their budget, to provide input and benefit from the findings.

Public opinion research is a critical tool for the environmental movement to hone our strategies for persuading the public and policymakers. However, the costs of commissioning high-quality research have typically excluded most organizations in the movement from being able to utilize polling as a tool in their advocacy. As a result, there are persistent research gaps in strategically important areas for our movement.

To fill these research gaps and to make polling a more accessible tool for the environmental community, we launched a quarterly “Community Poll” project in late 2024. You can browse results from previous waves below. And to learn more about how to get involved and help shape content and questions in future waves, contact the EPC team.
